I got this book as background information for a report I'm doing on Celiac disease. There is an incredible amount of information in this book, and I was surprised to find that it fits in perfectly with the Paleo diet, which is very "hot" right now. It makes sense that many people can't tolerate gluten considering it comes from processed foods, and these types of food are not what we are "bred" to eat. Many people may not even know they are intolerant, and this book gives you information on how to check this, and what to do if you are. It provides a long list of good and bad foods and ingredients, and this is so helpful to take shopping with you. I'm very impressed with the depth of the book - it really leaves nothing out that I can see. If you are gluten intolerant, or just want to make healthier choices - this is an excellent publication to help you do just that.Product details

Don't be fooled by the $2.99 price tag and the simple cover - this e-book is a little gem with loads of recipes and good foundational information for gluten-free cooking. I had always wanted to include more gluten-free meals in my family's diet for health reasons but had been scared off by it because it seemed too difficult or just not that appealing. This book however has shown me that gluten-free cooking isn't that hard after all and that there are a far wider variety of culinary options than I ever realized.
I have had the privilege of meeting the author in person who is a lovely lady with a radiant complexion that defies her years, which is proof to me that she really knows how to cook and eat healthily. I'm very excited that she's sharing so many of her recipes with us in this book. For just $2.99, it's a steal too.
