I am a friend of the author, but I have to say, I was blown away by this book. It starts out as a very introspective journey, and morphs into an action-packed thriller. I went from tears to cheers as the protagonist struggles with demons inside and out, conscious and subconscious. I can't wait to pick up his next one.
